This piece was made almost entirely out of plants and herbs. The binder is methyl celulose, a plant starch that can hold plant materials to other plant materials.

The plants/herbs used in this are:
chamomile, clove, cinnamon, pine needles, hibiscus (one annual one perrinial), catnip, leaves (red orange and green), seeds from reeds (look simmilar to dandilion seeds), and possibly some more that I can't remember

I'm afraid the full impact of this picture can't be carried through a photo. In person you can see the interesting contrasts of textures and because of all the herbs it smells like heaven! But I hope you enjoy it anyway
